  • Level playing field, House of Chiefs tells govt


    HOUSE of Chiefs Chairperson Chief Choongo says the country should ensure food security during the election period so that citizens are not enticed with food to vote. He adds that the political playing field must be levelled so that even the smallest parties can campaign, stating that today’s small parties could be the ruling party in the 2030s. Chief Choongo has also urged politicians to stick to the message of what they would do for the people once elected, rather than engaging in tribal politics.
