  • ACC nabs ex‑Mpulungu Harbour manager for corruption


    THE Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested and charged a former general manager of Mpulungu Harbour Corporation Limited over corrupt practices involving $50,000. ACC investigations have revealed that Davies Kaluba, while serving as general manager between December 1, 2016 and February 28, 2017, withdrew $50,000 from the institution’s account to purchase a Toyota Quantum bus valued at $45,000 and CCTV equipment worth $5,000 without following the required procurement procedures.
