  • Other countries can learn from Zambia’s health practices – Gates Foundation


    BILL and Melinda Gates Foundation Director for HIV and TB Delivery Dr Yogan Pillay says he is impressed with the good practices he witnessed at Chawama Level 1 Hospital’s HIV Unit, which also treats non-communicable diseases. Dr Pillay notes that other countries can learn from such practices because non-communicable diseases are on the rise in the region. Meanwhile, Acting Health Minister Cornelius Mweetwa has called on the Foundation to invest in setting up Zambia’s Health Intelligence Center.
