A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD girl has drowned in a shallow well in Simakakata Settlement of Kalomo District. In a statement, Friday, Police Deputy Public Relations Officer Chipo Kaitisha said the incident occurred on February 26, 2026, when the father of the deceased left the house to visit his father-in-law within the same village, leaving his children asleep.
