Police probe shooting of Siavonga man


POLICE in Siavonga are investigating a case of attempted murder where a 47-year-old man sustained three gunshot wounds from an unknown firearm. In a statement, Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo said the victim, identified as Charles Habumbeni reported the matter to the Police, adding that he was shot by unknown persons using an unknown type of firearm. “The Zambia Police Service in Siavonga District is investigating a case of attempted murder reported at Siavonga Police Station on February 27, at 08:50 hours.
