Behind many personal and professional achievements stand women whose decisions shaped someone’s direction long before success became visible. Their influence is reflected in results, yet their names are often missing from public recognition.
To mark International Women’s Day, 1xBet Zambia, together with brand ambassador Magnate, launches Woman Hero – a nationwide campaign dedicated to recognizing women whose concrete actions created measurable impact. The initiative positions personal storytelling as a platform for community dialogue.
A Nationwide Social Media Storytelling Contest with Monetary Awards
At the center of Woman Hero is a nationwide social media contest hosted on 1xBet Zambia’s official Instagram. From March 1 to March 6, participants are invited to share the story of a Woman Hero who influenced their life path.
Entries should focus on a specific decision, sacrifice, or act of support that changed the participant’s direction in education, business, career, sport, or personal development. The emphasis remains on clear action and visible outcome.
Three winning stories will be selected based on authenticity, clarity, and demonstrated impact. Each winner will receive an equal monetary prize, and additional surprise gifts.
The decision to award financial prizes together with material gifts reflects the campaign’s practical focus. By providing direct monetary support, 1xBet Zambia aims to contribute tangibly to the winners’ ambitions and position the brand as a participant in real-life progress.
Magnate on the Meaning of Woman Hero
As brand ambassador, Magnate supports the campaign by sharing his own Woman Hero story.
1. Who is your Woman Hero, and what specific impact did she have on your life path?
A: My woman hero is my mother.
She didn’t just raise me, she built me. She shaped my mindset long before I understood what success meant. Growing up, I watched her carry responsibilities without complaining. She showed me that strength is quiet, discipline is daily, and sacrifice is love in action.
Everything I am becoming started in her house.
2. At what moment did her support become a turning point in your development?
There was a time when I had big dreams but no proof they would work. Most people would have advised safety. My mother chose belief.
She supported my ambition even without fully understanding the digital world or branding. What mattered was her faith in me.
The turning point wasn’t money or opportunity. It was knowing that if the world doubted me, one woman did not. That changed how I move.
3. What principles from her do you apply in your work today?
Three things: discipline, resilience, and responsibility.
She was consistent and accountable, even in difficult seasons. Today, whether I’m building business or influencing people, I carry those principles with me.
4. Why does women’s real contribution often remain outside public attention?
Because much of women’s impact happens in private spaces.
Society celebrates visible success but overlooks the foundational influence built in homes, early mornings, and silent sacrifices.
5. Why is public recognition important today?
Public recognition restores respect, inspires young girls, and reminds society that leadership is not gender-exclusive.
When we honor women, we strengthen society. For me, honoring my mother is acknowledging the architect behind my foundation.
Awards, and Brand Responsibility
Three selected winners will receive equal monetary awards and additional surprise gifts during a dedicated 1xBet Zambia event. By combining storytelling with direct financial support, Woman Hero reflects 1xBet’s commitment to responsible community engagement and tangible impact rather than symbolic messaging.
To participate, share the original Woman Hero story under the main campaign post on 1xBet Zambia’s official Instagram between March 1 and March 6.
Join the Woman Hero initiative, share your Woman Hero story, and take part in recognizing the women who shape our future.
