  • ACC nabs 2 more Livestock officials for misappropriating $10m


    THE Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested and charged two more officials from the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries for misappropriating $10 million of the Sustainable Livestock Infrastructure Management Project (SLIMP) funds. The arrests of the two officials bring the total number of individuals charged in connection with the SLIMP syndicate to nine. In a statement, Saturday, ACC Acting Head of Corporate Communications Chilufya Chisanga said the commission had charged the ministry’s Director of Policy and Planning, Succeed Mubanga, with two counts of Possession of Property Reasonably Suspected to be Proceeds of Crime and two counts of Concealment of Property.
