MOST traditional churches do not allow those who have died by suicide to pass through their doors, and that rule hit Mathew Nkhuwa painfully when the United Church of Zambia refused to receive his son’s body, using what he describes as oppressive rules and regulations to close their doors when he needed them most for comfort.
