ZAMBIA has recorded an improvement in its global mining investment standing, according to the 2025 Fraser Institute Annual Survey of Mining Companies. In a statement, Saturday, Minister of Finance Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane disclosed that Zambia now ranked 25th globally on the Investment Attractiveness Index (IAI), improving from 28th in the previous survey cycle. He added that within Africa, Zambia was third, behind Botswana and Morocco. “Zambia has recorded a clear improvement in its global mining investment standing, according to the 2025 Fraser Institute Annual Survey of Mining Companies, one of the world’s most closely watched benchmarks of mining competitiveness.
