THE community in Mwambezi Ward of Mbala Constituency will now have access to quality health care after the rehabilitation and purchase of equipment for Uningi Rural Health Post, valued at K1.1 million through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF). The project also includes an ablution block valued at K371,000 and a water reticulation system at a cost of K319,000, built through CDF. For years, locals endured poor sanitation and inadequate health care facilities, increasing their risk of diseases. However, the rehabilitation of the health facility has brought relief to Uningi, Maiteneke and surrounding villages due to improved access to health care.
