Without unity, the opposition will face elections as ambitious men rehearsing separate defeats


ON Thursday last week, political commentator Emmanuel Mwamba who is also a PF publicity chairperson and aspiring presidential candidate, ran a political opinion poll asking his followers on Facebook, whom they would voter for if election were held on that day. The results were unexpected. The results were striking: President Hakainde Hichilema got 51.2 percent, Brian Mundubile 27.17 percent, Makebi Zulu 17.09 percent, Harry Kalaba 4.48 percent, while Fred M’membe registered nothing. From this background, Citizens First leader Harry Kalaba says he doesn’t mind rallying behind another candidate if citizens demand him to do so, in order to mount a formidable challenge against the ruling party.
