CHISHIMBA Kambwili has told the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court that he did not organise the gathering on January 26, 2023, at his residence, where a number of youths visited him to apologise for insulting him during the 2021 general elections. Kambwili adds that the meeting was not political in nature. This is in a matter where Kambwili, a PF presidential aspirant, was jointly charged with Charles Kakula, facing one count of unlawful assembly and riot, while Kakula also faced an additional charge of expressing or showing hatred, ridicule, or contempt for persons because of race.
