THE Ministry of Health has disclosed that 17 new cholera cases were reported as of March 10, 2026. According to a statement released by the ministry, two new deaths have been recorded in Lusaka District. “The Ministry of Health and the Zambia National Public Health Institute today provided an update on the ongoing cholera outbreak, noting a decrease in new cases while urging continued public vigilance. As of 10 March 2026, seventeen new cholera cases were reported within the last 24 hours, with fourteen in Lusaka District and three in Mpulungu District.
