MINISTER of Youth, Sport and Arts Elvis Nkandu has defended the K2.6 million cost for the rehabilitation of the damaged roof at National Heroes Stadium. Speaking during the cheque handover by ZSIC General Insurance Limited, Nkandu insisted that the amount is fair and based on a credible technical assessment. Nkandu dismissed concerns from sections of the public and emphasised that the valuation of the works was independently done by the insurer and not the ministry. “What is important is to fix.
