🟩 “TIME IS NOT ON RUSSIA’S SIDE”: U.S. DELIVERS A DIRECT MESSAGE TO THE KREMLIN
The United States has delivered one of its clearest messages yet to Moscow, arguing that Russia is not gaining time—it is losing it.
Speaking before the United Nations, the U.S. Deputy Permanent Representative declared:
“Russia must make a deal, stop the killing, and end the war. Time is not on its side.”
The statement comes as Russia continues its campaign of missile and drone attacks against Ukrainian cities, including the wave of strikes on Kyiv between July 2 and July 6, which killed at least 50 civilians and injured many more.
The United States stressed that it stands with Ukraine, whose people continue to endure attacks on residential neighborhoods, critical infrastructure, and cultural heritage sites.
But the remarks went beyond condemning Russia’s latest strikes.
Washington argued that despite the Kremlin’s continued offensives, Russia is paying an extraordinary price for a war that has dragged on for years. According to the U.S., Russian forces are losing nearly 40,000 personnel every month, a rate of attrition that continues to strain Moscow’s military.
The message reflects a broader shift in tone from recent days.
As Ukraine expands its long-range strikes against Russian oil refineries, fuel depots, logistics hubs, and military infrastructure, U.S. officials are increasingly portraying the Kremlin as a country facing mounting military and economic pressure—not one moving closer to victory.
For Washington, the conclusion is straightforward.
The longer the war continues, the higher the cost becomes for Russia.
And in the words of the United States:
“Time is not on Russia’s side.” 🇺🇦🇺🇸
