Zambia has shut down but shall exist again as a Christian Nation, assures Mundubile

NRPUP Presidential candidate Brian Mundubile has assured Zambians that the Country shall in his government, get back to existing as a Christian Nation.

And Mundubile says competent and qualified civil servants will be protected under his government.

Addressing a campaign rally in Chifunabuli District of Luapula Province yesterday, Mundubile assured Zambians that if elected into office, he would restore the Country to what it was.

He said he and Makebi Zulu will govern Zambia  using Christian values.

He said Zambia had shut down but that it would soon start working as he and Makebi would devote time to restoring it to what it was.

Two things to take note.
1. Mr. Mundubile promises to take the country to what it was. Presumably, this means taking the country back to what it was during the PF days. That is rampant corruption (uubomba mwibala alya mwibala), cadre violence, vulgar language (then PF Chairman, Mr. Davies Chama said that those complaining about loadshedding should go and urinate in the Kariba dam to fill it for generating electricity), hypocrisy, lies, lawlessness and gross indiscipline.
2. Mr. Mundubile would govern by christian values. This probably means making pronouncements about christian holidays for political ends. Like the day of prayer, fasting and reconciliation decreed by the late great leader Mr. Lungu ane corrupting the
weak clergy. Let me remind Mr. Mundubile that God cannot be mocked and that we must never misuse God’s name for politics in direct defiance of the third commandment. The protracted dispute over the burial of Mr. Lungu should serve as a remind that God doesnot take kindly to those who trifle with His name.
The declaration of Zambia as a Christian nation has cheapened Christianity and reduced it to a political tool. The bible says, “By their fruit you will recognise them”, Mathew 7:16. The fruit under PF was anything but christian. We saw the worst forms of oppression and lawlessness. A lot of people lost their lives and Mr. Mundubile calls this ruling by christian values. PF sowed the wind and reaped the whirlwind.
Mr. Mundubile is following in his mentor’s footsteps by using christianity to further his political agenda. A very dangerous game indeed. God cannot be mocked. Just do your campaigns without evoking the name of God.
On 13th August we shall show Mundubile and his regrouped PF gang that we, Zambians, never return to our political vomitus. It has never been in our nature.
They have God on their tongues, but their actions are something else.
