We were not engaged on 2,600 health worker recruitment – RDAZ
THE Resident Doctors Association of Zambia says the Civil Service Commission did not engage them on the recruitment of 2,600 health workers, adding that they only learnt of the announcement through the media. However, RDAZ president Dr Paul Chibwe acknowledges that government has done well with regards to employment in the sector, noting that recruitment now stands between 18,000 and 22,000 of the projected 26,000. Government recently announced that it would recruit 2,600 health workers across the country.
