  • KK11 legend Brines “Dodger” Mulenga dies


    THE Zambian football fraternity is in mourning following the passing of former Mufulira Wanderers and national team striker Brines “Dodger” Mulenga, who died in the early hours of yesterday. A revered figure among the Abena Milambo faithful, Mulenga earned his famous nickname through the exceptional skill and flair that characterised his playing style. He joined Mufulira Wanderers in 1975 and went on to enjoy a glittering career, securing two league titles, two Charity Shields, three Champion of Champions Cups, and the Heroes and Unity Cup during his distinguished spell at the club. Beyond his domestic achievements, Mulenga was a regular fixture in the Zambia National Team of the 1970s, representing his country with distinction as part the iconic KK11 era….
