A FARMER has told the court that “he is a Tonga bull” who can have many women, defending himself after being caught chatting with his girlfriend on the phone in his wife’s presence in her house while the couple was on separation. This is a matter in which Lister Banda, 34, of Silverest, has sued her husband, Standford Muchindu, 45, also of Silverest, for divorce, citing violence. Lister told Chelstone Magistrates Charity Milambo and Elizabeth Zulu that she has been separated from her husband for two years, but he continues to follow her to the house she is renting, where he beats her and threatens to kill her.
