CDF-funded mother’s shelter at Roan Hospital impresses Luanshya DC
LUANSHYA District Commissioner Paul Mulele has expressed satisfaction with the construction of a modern, fully furnished mother’s shelter at Roan Antelope General Hospital, funded through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF). Mulele says the construction of the mother’s shelter will play a critical role in reducing the maternal mortality rate in the district because expectant mothers will now have access to better health facilities. The mother’s shelter comes with a fully furnished modern kitchen, bedrooms and a television/sitting room.
