Citizens First (CF) leader Harry Kalaba has disclosed that he declared owning assets to the tune of around K58 million.
Speaking with Daily Revelation over the weekend, Kalaba said it was only fair for him to do so before his bosses the Zambian people to show them that he had nothing to hide in the event they entrusted him with public office.
He said he wanted to restore back integrity to public office, by assuring Zambians that he would work to serve their interests from the very first day in office, rather than stealing their time by concerning himself with the accumulation of wealth once they vote for him.
“Yes, we have declared before the ECZ but that’s quiet declaration,” Kalaba said.

Declare what you had before being a minister as well….let’s no play mind games……Sata exposed HH’s accounts before he became president. He had over 300 billion old currency back then, and that was just one of the personal accounts in ZANACO….thats not counting his businesses…..let’s talk about what alternative solutions you are offering the zambian people .

This is funny. It is already law that all presidential candidates must declare assets and liabilities and those who enter office will also do the same on leaving. So, what is the problem? No one doubts that HH is rich. Throughout his life since he was 27 he has built a portfolio which none of you paupers can match. On top of that HH has given away much of his wealth. Dozens of young people have been sponsored through schools, colleges and university over the years. He has built schools, clinics, hospitals and not to mention dip tanks and bore holes throughout the country without fanfare and media publicity. It is only when he has become President that cameras have followed on his philanthropic trail. In fact HH would have done more if he wasn’t in a country of evil green eyed people with PHDs (Pull Him Down syndrome).
You Mr Kalaba, you have K58 million. Tell us what you have done with your money.
It is YOUR money anyhow and what you do with it is none of our business, but if you decide to tell the world how much you have, that is also your business. There is no law that compels you to do so.
Why do you want to make yourself a criteria, you declared your K58 million in order to meet the requirements by the law as you filed your nomination papers. You did not declare your money for the general public to know how much money you have, because there is no law which compels you or anyone else to do so. Why do you want to bring your own jungle laws? Declaration of assets to ECZ is not for public consumption, it’s for ECZ and it’s a Constitutional requirement. Moreover, why do you have to challenge HH alone and not Mundubile, M’membe and others, those are cheap politics.
How much did he have before becoming a minister in pf when he was an officer orderly. You declare what you stole.
Certainly, sir, let us begin with the farms that HH possesses. Just one bull is valued at nearly a million. Now, consider the prospect of having 300 bulls. Keep in mind that he has cattle as well, the selling price of his cattle ranges from 35k to approximately 300k. He owns thousands of them… Given your education, please apply some mathematics to this situation… Additionally, there are other business ventures he is involved in; please include those in your calculations.

what does it matter whether he declared K58m or 58 Ngwee? What matters to me is after 5 yrs as President how much will he be worth and who will hold him to account? He will walk away smiling all the way to the bank. That is what all the Politicians dream of and clamour for. Zero Service to the Citizens but huge Payout!!!
HH is too organised to fail to make an assets and liabilities declaration with the ECZ. He has already done so. Harry Kalaba just wants to provoke a reaction from HH. He won’t get one. HH is too busy running the country to pay attention to such a triviality.
This chap needs to be investigated, where did he get all that money, poor chap. He can’t be trusted with our money
