HH’s salary talk unnecessary, all presidents benefit from State resources – Mbita


VETERAN politician Mbita Chitala says it is unnecessary for President Hakainde Hichilema to claim he does not receive a salary, arguing that every head of state benefits from government-funded food and transport. On Wednesday, President Hichilema said he is the first of Zambia’s seven presidents not to receive a salary, describing himself as a missionary who came to serve the people.
