153 Lavushimanda clubs receive K2.7m in CDF grants
MUCHINGA Province Permanent Secretary Dr Tuesday Bwalya has handed over K2,754,000 in Constituency Development Fund (CDF) grants to 153 clubs in Lavushimanda District, with each club receiving K18,000. Speaking at the handover ceremony in Mfuwe Constituency, Dr Bwalya said the 2026 CDF grants are meant to empower applicants through village banking, reducing vulnerability and improving livelihoods. He explained that the funds target small businesses, cooperatives, youth and women’s groups, and community-based initiatives.
