EDGAR LUNGU WILL ONLY BE BURRIED WHEN WE WIN THE 2026 ELECTIONS, BRIAN MUNDUBILE ASSURES ZAMBIANS
Presidential candidate Brian Mundubile has revealed that he and running mate Makebi Zulu, have agreed to only lay to rest, President Edgar Lungu if the pair wins August 13 polls.
Speaking during a rally in Chinsali of Muchinga Province this afternoon, Mundubile told the gathering that Lungu deserves to be laid to rest with dignity and respect.
“What you must know is that our father Edgar Lungu, has not yet been buried. What Makebi Zulu and I have agreed on is that when you vote for us and we win, we will honour late President Edgar Lungu and bury him with respect.
“Our father needs to be buried with respect,” Mundubile remarks.

Disgusting! Where is this so called Rev. Sumaili? Where are her national values? How do you hold a nation to ransom by holding on to the body to solicit for votes?
The family is also morally bankrupt. They said they wanted to bury Mr. Lungu in South Africa, now that the courts have handed them the body, they are dilly dallying using the body as a campaign tool to aid their polical allies. This is shocking!
The fact is, Mr. Mundubile is not winning the elections. So just get on with the burial.
Mundubile is just over confident but he knows he won’t win. If that was the reason for not burying Lungu so that you come and bury him when you win, then why were you blaming Hakainde and his government for the delay and yet you are the ones who were delaying the burial. This just shows how dishonest you and Makebi are. Accusing an innocent person and yet you knew what you were doing. Mpundu said it openly that we shall use the body of Lungu to remove the UPND from power. So all your promises are empty because your main preoccupation is to remove UPND but totally no agenda for Zambia. You are promising Zambians things that Hakainde has already done. HH has revived the old mines which were in ICU, you even failed to liquidate KCM because you were syphoning money in millions of dollars through the liquidator you put there. That’s the job you know most.
What guarantee do you have that you will win? Are you God to guarantee yourself a win? You have even reminded me of the king Ahab who instructed the prison waders to keep someone in prison with the bread and water of affliction till he came back in peace. Then the man of God responded and said; And Micaiah said, If thou return at all in peace, the LORD hath not spoken by me…. 1 Kings 22:28. King Ahab never came back, he died. So don’t take things for granted because you can only bury Lungu if at all you win, something which is very unlikely. Hakainde is winning this election with a very big margin for that matter.
