THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) yesterday suspended UPND ward level nominations for aspiring candidates countrywide, following confusion arising from cases of double adoptions. ECZ further postponed the filing in of nominations for Lusaka mayoral candidates to today, due to chaos caused by the adoption of former Lusaka deputy mayor Ketty Nanyangwe and Vlogger Chitambala Mwewa under the UPND ticket. However, Mwewa has since decided to step down from the mayoral race.
