LCC conducts CDF inspection to verify that pupils on bursary are still in school


THE Lusaka City Council has guided secondary boarding schools benefiting from CDF bursaries to promptly report any changes affecting sponsored learners. The Council says schools must formally notify it whenever a beneficiary transfers, fails to report to school, withdraws or experiences any change that affects their bursary status to ensure the support reaches the intended vulnerable learners. According to a statement issued by LCC Public Relations Manager Chola Mwamba, the appeal follows a monitoring and evaluation exercise conducted by a Council team in Mandevu Constituency.
