TAKE HH to the Copperbelt, Lusaka, Northern, or Luapula Provinces for a rally and see the reaction of ordinary people, not UPND cadres, says Mwenya Musenge, mocking UPND spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa, who downplayed the recently held NRPUP mega rallies, stressing that “crowds don’t translate into votes”. On Saturday, NRPUP presidential candidate Brian Mundubile held a highly attended rally in Kitwe where he outlined his policies if elected. Mundubile promised that he would hand over Senseli and Kikonge mines to residents of Kitwe, among other promises. Commenting on the rally in an interview, Sunday, Mweetwa said the UPND was competing for votes and not crowds.
