Uganda seeks lessons from Zambia’s enhanced CDF


JANET Mataka Gladys, a delegation leader from the Parliamentary Budget Office of Uganda, says Uganda is keen to learn how Zambia’s enhanced CDF is being utilised to empower local communities. She adds that the Ugandan delegation wants to acquire “best practices” on CDF utilisation, community project prioritisation, and the direct impact of the funds on youth empowerment, education and job creation for possible implementation in her country. She said this when she paid a courtesy call on Ministry of Local Government Permanent Secretary Dr Gabriel Pollen last Wednesday.
