BRE CALLS FOR RETRACTION AND APOLOGY OF KAFWAYA’S AIRPORTS REMARKS
By Mary Malisana
The Barotse Royal Establishment (BRE) has demanded for an apology from Tonse Alliance Finance Chairperson Mutotwe Kafwaya over remarks questioning the need for an airport in Western Province.
The BRE says it is disappointed that such comments were made by a former national leader, describing the remarks as unfortunate and offensive to the people of Western Province.
Speaking to Bulozi TV News, BRE Ngambela Mukela Manyando called on Kafwaya to immediately retract his statement and issue a public apology to the people of the province.
As the saying goes..Its a dollar late and short.
The man needs to resign from his position and quit politics.
The revalation is like being caught naked and a stain to him the party and what he stands for.
Over the past five years we have seen this man engage in the kind of rethoric that is retrogressive and digusting. When will we make those that behave in this manner accountable? There is no spin or back tracking that can fix this. Mundubile needs to show Zambians that when something wrong is seen or done. Decisive action is required. Otherwise we will have the likes of Katele Kalumba and his wife being vilified and having a say when we all know that the man stole from the state and when did convicts have the moral high ground to speak when they should be so deep in shame…opening their mouths needs total rebuke and a reminder of who the are….theives.
Mutotwe kafwaya has always been a disappointment especially when it comes to developments in southern, western, central and north western provinces of Zambia.Infact that’s the same thought the Brian Mundubile’s camp has ; no wonder even when their member made that reckless and foolish statement they kept mute without any comments. These opposition leaders don’t mean well because they only think of Northern, luapula, eastern, lusaka , central and muchinga province as if they are the only ones that can benefit from the Zambian coffers.
