British-Gambian artist J Hus has returned with a double release, unveiling two new tracks titled “Moonlight” and “Clean Run,” marking the beginning of a new chapter in his musical journey.
Leading the release is the vibrant and melodic “Moonlight,” co-produced by P2J and Cole YoursTruly, which delivers a warm, expansive sound built around J Hus’ signature blend of Afrobeats and UK rap influences. In contrast, “Clean Run,” produced by JAE5, sees him lean back into his rap-driven roots, offering a more direct and rhythm-heavy performance.
Across both tracks, J Hus reflects on themes of ambition, loyalty, and perseverance, showcasing the effortless melodies and sharp lyricism that have defined his career.
The release follows a strong recent run for the artist, including his collaboration with Asake on “Gold” and a sold-out performance at the Royal Albert Hall, celebrating five years since his acclaimed album Big Conspiracy.
Now stepping into an independent era, “Moonlight” and “Clean Run” serve as the first glimpse of a new creative direction as J Hus continues to evolve his sound.
