Russia Launches New Missile Strike on Kyiv
Russia launched a new wave of missile strikes on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, early on July 11, with multiple explosions reported across the city.
According to AFP, at least five explosions were heard over Kyiv during the early morning hours. Witnesses reported that the first blast occurred before air raid sirens were activated, leaving little warning for residents.
Air defense systems were later activated as authorities responded to the attack. Emergency services were deployed to assess the affected areas, while officials continued evaluating the extent of the damage.
The latest strike comes amid continued Russian long-range attacks targeting Ukrainian cities, as hostilities between the two countries remain ongoing.
