ZELENSKYY: CHINA SENT A CLEAR WARNING AFTER RUSSIAN NUCLEAR RHETORIC

BREAKING: ZELENSKYY SAYS CHINA ISSUED A FIRM WARNING AFTER RUSSIAN NUCLEAR RHETORIC
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that China responded with a strong and unambiguous warning after Russian media figures once again raised the possibility of using nuclear weapons in response to Ukraine’s increasingly effective long-range strikes.

Speaking to reporters, Zelenskyy noted that discussions about a potential nuclear response had resurfaced in Russian media.

> “I think you’ve heard such voices in the Russian media. What if we respond to the strikes by Ukrainians with nuclear weapons?” Zelenskyy said.

According to the Ukrainian president, Beijing reacted quickly and made its position unmistakably clear.

> “China reacted very seriously, very harshly, and very clearly,” he stated.
Although China has maintained close political and economic ties with Russia since the start of the war, Beijing has repeatedly opposed both the use and the threat of nuclear weapons. Zelenskyy’s remarks suggest that China continues to view nuclear escalation as unacceptable, despite its relationship with Moscow.

The comments come as Ukraine’s long-range drone and missile campaign has intensified, placing increasing pressure on Russian military infrastructure deep behind the front lines.

If accurate, Zelenskyy’s account would indicate that even one of Russia’s most influential international partners is unwilling to support any move toward nuclear escalation, reinforcing Beijing’s long-standing public position that a nuclear war must never be fought.
