Macron Hosts 37-Nation Summit to Strengthen Ukraine’s Air Defenses
French President Emmanuel Macron is hosting a summit of the “Coalition of the Willing” in Paris on July 13, bringing together leaders from 37 countries alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The meeting is focused on one of Ukraine’s most pressing priorities strengthening its air defense capabilities amid the ongoing war with Russia.
Leaders are expected to discuss plans for a more comprehensive missile defense network for Ukraine, including expanded air defense cooperation and the potential co-production of Patriot missile interceptors inside Ukraine. The proposal aims to speed up production, improve supply, and enhance Ukraine’s ability to defend against missile and drone attacks.
The summit highlights continued international efforts to bolster Ukraine’s defenses as the conflict enters another critical phase.
