SPAIN EVACUATES 101 PALESTINIANS FROM GAZA, INCLUDING 20 SICK AND INJURED CHILDREN
Spain has welcomed 101 Palestinians evacuated from the Gaza Strip, including 20 children suffering from illnesses or injuries sustained during the ongoing conflict, as part of a humanitarian medical evacuation mission.
The children and their families were transported to Spain and distributed among several hospitals across the country, where they will receive specialized medical treatment and care.
The evacuation marks the sixth humanitarian medical operation carried out by the Spanish government to assist vulnerable Palestinians affected by the war in Gaza.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez addressed the arrival of the evacuees, emphasizing that no human being especially children should have to endure the suffering and hardship caused by the crisis in Gaza.
Sánchez reaffirmed Spain’s commitment to providing humanitarian assistance and supporting civilians affected by the conflict, stressing the importance of protecting children and those in need of urgent medical care.
The latest evacuation comes as international efforts continue to provide medical support, humanitarian aid, and protection for civilians impacted by the ongoing violence in the region.
