UPND IS STINGY, YOU CAN’T SURVIVE IN THEIR PARTY, SAYS PAUL MOONGA AS HE JOINS MUNDUBILE.
Brian Mundubile’s camp continues to attract high-profile political endorsements ahead of the 13th August, 2026 General Election.
The latest political figure to dump the United Party for National Development (UPND) is Paul Moonga, who joined the ruling party in 2025 after defecting from the former Patriotic Front (PF).
Officially endorsing Brian Mundubile’s presidential candidature today, Mr. Moonga launched a blistering attack on the UPND, claiming it is difficult to survive in the party because its members are “stingy” and unwilling to support one another.
He described Mr. Mundubile as a generous leader with a proven record of helping people and said he is the best candidate to lead Zambia forward.
“Today I have officially resigned from the United Party for National Development (UPND). This party is full of people who can’t even share the little they have with others. They are stingy, and they have completely failed the country,” Mr. Moonga said.
“Today we are proudly endorsing Brian Mundubile because he has a track record of being generous, and I believe he is the right leader to take this country forward with meaningful development,” he added.
Mr. Moonga further appealed to Zambians to vote for Brian Mundubile and remove the UPND from office in next month’s general election.
“Please, fellow Zambians, this is your opportunity to remove the UPND Government from office. You now have the chance to elect a leader who will listen to you, work for you, and deliver development. That leader is Brian Mundubile,” he stated.
Don’t you believe it. Paul Moonga is ill and could not possibly have been to any political rally.
Even if he is not sick the reasons for defecting to Mundubile’s party is entirely selfish.
He just Mundubile promising to dismantle the National reserves and is aligning his to receive a share. Ni mwankole.

Well done UPND. You do not need people like Paul Moonga who just joined in order to eat without working. That is how he had survived in PF. It is good riddance.
This is exactly what a ruling party should behaviour, in America citizens funds electoral candidates use voters money, here in zambia you the party in government to defraud the government resources to give electrolytes. The same reason I think upnd with its leader to be the best government to continue ruling. We have a need to continue with a ruler that doesn’t share monies that doesn’t belong to the party aor the party. This cuture has to break at some point. If government changes this August the masses must prepare for more artificial enjoyment before a hard down fall. HH good for the nation and mundubile good for a few cadres. This is an election between illiteracy and integrity, stomach and work, greed and wise, stupidity and wisdom. The choice is entirely on zambian. Am happy that HH is not moved by the on goings but stuck to his promise not to disd out national funds for the seek of him retaining te seat kudos. Let them make a choice between temporal full dish of nshima and a permanent dish of nshima

Stingy how? so Mr Paul Moonga us used to have money dished around like sweets.This is what has destroyed our political system,people want to have a lavish life style without working.
