Scotts Maphuma, the South African singer and vocalist, has teamed up with Slyzza Rsa, Mellow, Sleazy and Dlala Regal for a brand new frenetic Amapiano hit, titled “Gone Kanje”. This thunderous street anthem hits hard after the worldwide dance season to shake up local club scenes and weekend party playlists.
The township electronic wave, ever expanding, always asks producers to connect complex production loops with genuine street attitude. Clubbers want deep piano grooves that keep that tremendous late-night festival adrenaline going, not simple commercial layouts. So this particular collab pulls together diverse creative ideas to generate a strong joint that properly satisfies that dancing desire. Still, the infectious arrangement is a lovely screen against seasonal tension, inviting you to shed yourself on the floor.
The sound builders craft a very rich, slow-burning canvas, layering in warm ambient notes and piercing drum loops. Mellow & Sleazy, together with Dlala Regal, introduce log beats that rattle the speakers and bounce softly underneath the main melody to give the overall orchestration a very heavy, rhythmic character. But the percussion setup is still clean and incredibly wide, making the vocals easy to lead the listener without overcrowding the sound.
