There’s rising poverty in Zambia, says Bishop Banda
ARCHBISHOP Dr. Alick Banda says Zambians are longing for a future where dignity, justice and freedoms prevail.
And Archbishop Banda says Zambians have continued to wallow in poverty due to economic hardships.
In his homily before yesterday’s session of the Zambia Conference of Catholic Bishops—ZCCB Plenary Assembly at the Catholic Secretariat Chapel, Archbishop Banda said freedoms and liberties have diminished in the Country.
He says there is desire for the day of liberation.
Archbishop Alick Banda has urged Zambians not to lose hope amid the country’s socio-economic and political challenges, saying true liberation is born out of faith in God, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to justice.
Dr. Banda says the Church remains committed to accompanying the people of Zambia by proclaiming the Gospel, defending human dignity, and encouraging national unity founded on justice, truth, and respect for one another.
“In the midst of our socio-economic and political storms, let us seek refuge in Jesus, who walks with us in our trials, offering rest to our weary souls. Let us stand united in the pursuit of justice, advocating for the oppressed and marginalized, and working towards a society where the cry for liberation is heard. The promised land of rest and freedom becomes a reality for all,” Archbishop Banda says.
He adds: “May we be vessels of hope and liberation, to bring light into the darkest corners of human experiences and lead others towards the ultimate promised land of God’s eternal rest and freedom.”

You start telling people that there is hunger.
This man lost all credibility when he didn’t step down from religious activities following exposure of his involvement in the theft of a motor vehicle from ZRA.
And the lack of any comment on the matter by the Catholic church means stealing motor vehicles is a normal thing.

This appears to be a coordinated effort. The moment Mundubile is in Lusaka, and seeing HH making breakthroughs in Northern and Muchinga, we see ba bishop Chama, then ba Hilux coming out with their TOXIC preachings.
Clearly, aba bantu, they are fighting for control, which they lost after PF & ECL were kicked out.

There is no rising poverty, there is lack of toyota hiluxes to be gifted.
There is rising poverty for those who survived on brown envelopes.
