ZAMBIA Army Commander Lieutenant General Geoffrey Zyeele says the proceeds from OB19 and OB22 must reach their intended beneficiaries to prevent grievances that could develop into threats to national security. Recently, President Hakainde Hichilema allocated mine dump sites OB 19 and OB 22 to small-scale miners in Chingola. Lieutenant General Zyeele, who was speaking as Chairperson of the Central Joint Operations Committee (CJOC) during a security engagement in Chingola, said the committee was not interested in the operations or proceeds of the two initiatives unless they created conditions that threatened peace and security.
