UNIDENTIFIED OFFICER ALLEGEDLY SEEN REMOVING PRESIDENT HICHILEMA’S CAMPAIGN POSTERS
An unidentified uniformed officer has been captured in a video allegedly removing campaign posters of President Hakainde Hichilema and his running mate, Vice President Mutale Nalumango.
In the video, which has been widely circulated on social media, particularly on pages aligned with the NRPUP Alliance, the officer appears to tear down the posters while reportedly expressing support for a change of government.
A person heard in the background claims the individual is an officer from the Office of the President (OP). However, this claim has not been independently verified.
The Zambia Police Service has not yet issued an official statement regarding the authenticity of the video or the conduct of the officer seen in the footage.
The exact location and date when the incident occurred also remain unconfirmed.
