Court sets August 20 for ruling in Binwell’s sedition case
THE Lusaka Magistrates’ court has set August 20, 2026, as the date for a ruling on whether there is a case to answer in the matter where former Nkana Independent MP Binwell Mpundu is charged with one count of seditious practices. Meanwhile, earlier Lusaka Magistrate Webster Milumbe discharged a bench warrant issued against Mpundu on July 9, 2026 for missing court. On July 9, 2026 Magistrate Milumbe issued a bench warrant returnable on July 20, 2026.
