THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has lifted the suspension of campaign activities for NRPUP in Kaputa Constituency. The Commission earlier suspended NRPUP’s campaign activities in Kaputa following reported violence that resulted in a death. In a statement, Wednesday, ECZ Chief Electoral Officer Brown Kasaro stated that the lifting of the ban followed confirmation from police that the political situation in the constituency had normalised. “The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has with immediate effect lifted the suspension of campaign activities for the National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) in Kaputa Constituency of Kaputa District.
