POLICE in Choma have launched investigations in a matter where a 35-year-old woman reported that she was raped twice by different men in isolated incidences within minutes. Confirming the investigations Southern Province Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo said the victim reported the matter at Choma Central Police Station on June 17 at 07:45 hours. “Brief facts of the matter are that on June 17 between 03:30 and 05:00 hours, the victim was drinking beer alone at a bar in Chandamali Compound.
