Drug availability above 80% – ZAMMSA
THE Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA) says medicine availability is now above the prescribed World Health Organisation (WHO) minimum levels of 80 percent. Meanwhile, Ministry of Health Assistant Director for Pharmaceutical Services Maxwell Kasonde says there are a lot of requests at his office from pharmacists seeking transfers from rural health centres to urban areas.
