The only ‘classified’ material Chungu disclosed is that change is coming – Sishuwa

Historian Dr Sishuwa Sishuwa says he has listened to the whole one-hour interview involving former Intelligence chief Xavier Chungu with ThatZedPodcast, which has, however, been stopped from airing by the authorities as containing “classified material.”
ThatZedPodcast had promised to air the interview in question, but could however, not proceed due to “circumstances beyond our control.”
“Due to circumstances beyond our control, the podcast episode with the former Director General of the Zambia Security Intelligence Service, Mr Xavier Chungu, will not be broadcast at ALL as earlier advertised. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause,” ThatZedPodcast stated.
But Dr Sishuwa stated on his Twitter feed that he had listened to the recording, which he said was made available to him from high-level government sources.

Sorry, Sishua is a psycopath and not an authority to judge for anyone anything.
Shushus shushu is rogue, the law will surely catch up with you.
If change is coming, do we need all those pries from Xavier Chungu? What is their relevance to the coming change if at all it’s coming? Surely Sishua’s education and his personality do not tally. Just try to go through the archives and look at his writings in the past five years, there’s nothing Zambia has benefited from them. Not even Sishuwa himself. Change already came in 2021, may be in 2031 but certainly not in 2026.
The only revelation that will determine my vote is “what do you propose to do to improve education, agriculture, mining,… generally the development of Zambia”. Whatever he has to reveal, how does it affect me? This nonsense must be stopped, and we deal with real issues. who decides change, voters or chungu?
Is Dr. Sishuwa qualified to determine what is classified and what is not classified?
After the fall of the UNIP government in 1991, the Chiluba MMD government foolishly exposed the existence of a security network of tunnels in the hope of discrediting KK.
In 1979 when Rhodesian commandos invaded Joshua Nkhomo’s residence in Lusaka, it is this same network of tunnels which saved Nkhomo. Nkhomo was the leader of Zapu, the Zimbabwean liberation movement which was based in Lusaka.
The residence was completely destroyed and the Rhodesians and Ian Smith, their leader, believed Mr. Nkhomo was dead. They were shocked when he appeared at a news conference the following day.
So let us be careful about what we divulge about security matters in the name of politics. Maybe Dr. Sishuwa, who is himself a historian, has forgotten this historical fact.
By the way, the same Mr. Chungu was probably the intelligence chief when Mr. Chiluba made the blunder of disclosing the tunnels.
It seems he didnot learn any lessons from that mistake.
