Airtel credits stable kwacha, inflation for $1bn market value


AIRTEL Networks PLC has attributed its achievement of the $1 billion market capitalisation on the Lusaka Securities Exchange to stable macroeconomic fundamentals such as the kwacha and inflation. Meanwhile, the Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE) says Airtel’s achievement is proof that the country’s capital markets are investable.
