Police justify halting Kalaba’s campaigns in Western Province: “he did not notify us”
WESTERN Province Police Commissioner Rae Hamoonga says Citizens First president Harry Kalaba failed to notify the police before holding a campaign meeting in Senanga, contrary to the agreed campaign guidelines. On Saturday police stopped Kalaba to proceed with his campaign activities after he failed to notify police. Commenting on the matter in an interview, Hamoonga said the police had only been notified of Kalaba’s campaign meeting in Mwoyo, which proceeded without any incident, before his team allegedly changed its direction after the meeting.
