Mining under constant threat from organised crime – DPP
MINING in Zambia is under constant threat from transnational organised crime networks that exploit mineral resources and mining institutions, says Director of Public Prosecutions Gilbert Phiri. Phiri also says his Office is not joking when it comes to fighting crime as evidenced in the jailing of former cabinet ministers.
