Princesses face Ethiopia in World Cup qualifier
THE Copper Princesses will today host the Ethiopia Women’s Under-17 National team in the first leg of the final round of the CAF qualifiers at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium. The winner over two legs will secure a ticket to Morocco for the tenth edition of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, scheduled for October to November 2026. Zambia has qualified for the last two editions, competing in the Dominican Republic in 2024 and Morocco in 2025, and will be aiming for a third successive appearance at the global showpiece.
