Iran launches missile attack toward U.S. base in Kuwait
Iran has launched dozens of missiles toward a U.S. military base in Kuwait, marking a sharp escalation in regional tensions following recent U.S. airstrikes on targets inside Iran.
Air raid sirens were activated as Kuwaiti air defenses responded to the incoming missile threat. Kuwaiti authorities said they were intercepting what they described as hostile missile and drone attacks, while emergency measures were implemented.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the attack was carried out in retaliation for U.S. military strikes on Iranian targets. U.S. officials have not yet reported any casualties or confirmed damage to military facilities.
