POLICE in Lusaka have instituted investigations into the conduct of the officers, regarding the handling of the domestic violence complaint that preceded the tragic murder and suspected suicide incident in Makeni Villa. This is in a matter in which a 45-year-old man of Makeni Villa area in Lusaka has allegedly shot dead his wife and her younger brother before taking his own life. According to a statement, Wednesday, Police Spokesperson Godfrey Chilabi the incident happened at around 15:00 hours, on Wednesday, July 8, and was reported to Kanyama Police Station about 40 minutes later by a resident who heard gunshots in the neighbourhood.
